    VPN options

    Hi all
Im after some info on VPN options.
I currantly have 4 IPsec VPNs linked to my TPlink router from remote sites and all work fine.
I currantly have PPTP on my laptop to a pc on my network so i can link to my network when im off site.
What im wanting to know is if there is some software I can put on my laptop to link my laptop to my router via IPsec instead of using PPTP and having to rely on a pc or server on the network?

    Thanks Dan

The usual way to connect remotely is to use something like TeamViewer. This removes the requirement to set up a VPN but does require opening a port on the router, although you may be able to use it via a VPN as well.

    cheers, Paul

Shrewsoft VPN Client is freeware and does ipsec vpm connections.

Greenbow VPN IPSEC Client is payware, but can be a little easier to set up.
