    Anyone Had This

Now and again when I click on Preview prior to posting I lose the Submit and Preview buttons and a load of Instruction appears under the reply box.

I've found I can restore by clicking on the Refresh, but it is annoying.

I've had it a few times and glad it was not just me. For longer replies I got in the habit of copying what I had typed so I wouldn't have to do it again if the page didn't come back the same.

I was wondering if it was just me as well and now glad to find it isn't, although I wouldn't want to impose this on anyone

Perhaps Rui can take this up with the site owners.

It has just happened again when I clicked on the Preview button and then again when I previewed what I've just written.

Got a pop up this time to say that IE had modified the page to help to prevent cross-site scripting - a clue ?

    I think I'll quit while I'm ahead

Something else I've just noticed, it changes the ) to an # when manually adding a smiley by typing : followed by a )

I don't really use Preview and I also am not aware that any changes have been done to the software. It is quite more likely that this is related to some browser change. For what I read, I also suspect this affects IE, so (jokingly) I would suggest you start using modern browsers .

Well I don't like FF and only have it as a spare browser - guess I'll just have to leave the Preview button alone, although I may see what resetting IE to defaults will do, but with all of the security updates and whatever else MS try to throw at us, it could be anything.

What would that "cross scripting" pop up indicate ?

I really don't know. It would require the full text of the message and even then may not be enough.

The warning may have been about "cross-site scripting"...

I don't really know why IE would say that, sorry.
