To use a non-admin account you need two accounts, one admin for those times you need to be admin and one normal that you use most of the time.
Can you run the user manager and tell us what users exist on your machine and which one you are currently using?
Control Panel > User Accounts and Family Safety > User Accounts

Does it say what the "other user" is called?
When you say "sign in", is that a new thing or have you always had to sign in?
Have you made any changes / loaded any software recently?
    Run a virus scan?

    cheers, Paul

You must have a user called "other user", I've no idea how you managed to get that - unless you've been playing with the hidden admin account.
You should be able to tell Windows to log straight into your account.

Either virus or broken OS. Do you have an image backup you can restore?

How do you have other users in a clean install? You should only have one user.
Are you sure you did a clean install and not a repair install?

Is logging straight into your account done by you? By others in this forum?

Any Pros & Cons for doing it OR not doing it that way?

Do most of you use a Password or a 4 digit Pin?
Or do most of you just not use the Microsoft Account login at all?

I don't have W10, but if I did I'd stay well clear of using an MS account - they don't need to know when I log on and what I'm doing.

    cheers, Paul

OTOH, I like being able to sync browser favorites with no extra software. I like being able to use the Windows store and being able to just install software for which I already have a license without re-booting to a new user or logging out and backin with a different user. I like having my settings automatically backed up and synced to other devices where I use the same Microsoft account. If you use social media you can optionally link Outlook, Skype, Twitter, Facebook, & LinkedIn accounts so all the contacts show in "People". If you are a gamer Xbox gaming achievements are synced. I login to various Microsoft services with the same id either automatically or with one click.
