    Blocking of Windows 10

I refer to Susan Bradley's article on blocking Windows 10 upgrade in the last issue of Windows Secrets. I have Windows 8.1, 64 bit and I tried to follow Ms Bradley's instructions, however when opening "regedit" and expanded HKEY_Local_Machine as instructed, the last sub-folder was "Windows". I did not have sub-folder "WindowsUpdate", therefore I could not block Windows 10 upgrade.
Any suggestions to resolve my problem will be greatly appreciated. Regards,

Use "GWX Control Panel" to disable the "Get Windows 10" nags and disable the auto-upgrade to Win10: http://ultimateoutsider.com/downloads/

    Coochin,

Many thanks for your recommendations. The GWX Control Panel appears to be working fine. Regards,
