    A Burning Software program

We have a Lenovo desktop with Windows 10 , it has a Cyberlink Lenovo Power2Go program with it, but it freezes and crashes all the time when we want to use it, we have gone to the site from Cyberlink, and we have the latest version, it even tells us that it is compatible with Windows10, but it still doesn't work.
Does anyone have a free CD burning program that they can recommend??
    Thank you.

I use CD Burner XP which is a much better program than the native Windows program. Having used the major paid for programs, I find it to be at least on par with them in capability and less bloated. Despite the name, its compatible with W10.

    Nota Bene. Caveat descendit oneratus.

Always check for bundled unwanted extras when downloading and installing any new software and be sure to decline them. Use custom install when itís available.

Check out ImgBurn. I've used this for several years on a variety of Windows versions including Win10.

Are you using it to view or write?

What are you trying to write to the CD? If you are just copying files then Windows can do that without any special software.
