Wi-FI Takes forever to Start After Start-up

My Windows 7 64bit computer icons all boot up fast except the WiFi which is last to boot. However, when there are windows updates, the WiFi boots up early. Any ideas to make WiFi boot up very early? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Networking in general is one of the last things to get activated during a boot because of the exposure to the outside world. If you want to speed up to boot process check your startup items. Use a tool such as Autoruns or WhatInStartup.
