    Sound: Windows Media Player 12 vs. Internet Explorer 11

    It seems to me that the IE sound is crisper when listening to internet radio than listening to it on the Media Player. Is this true, or just my ears? Thanks

    WMP may be accessing a lower quality stream.
    WMP may use a different codec.
    Your ears may like the visuals.

    Does WMP play high quality local files well? If so it's likely to be the stream.

    cheers, Paul

    Regardless of whether IE sound is crisper or not, stick with whatever sounds best to you.

    @Paul T
    Really liked your third point.
