Appointment text not displaying in AutoPreview (Outlook 2000 SR-1)
In the Calendar, using the Day/Week/Month with AutoPreview view, one of our users created a recurring appointment for each workday in a 2-year period. Since AutoPreview is on, not only is the subject displayed, but the first few lines of text in each appointment window.
So far, so good...now, if the user edits one of the appointments using Open This Occurrence, then changes the appointment text and saves the changes, the appointment displays the subject and the words "The contents of this appointment have been updated. Open this appointment to see the updated text."
The user obviously wants to see the appointment text in the day/week/month view, and does not want to have to open the individual appointments. Is there anything that can be done to avoid this (other than the obvious, not creating them as recurring appointments in the first place)?The postings on this site are my own and do not necessarily represent the position or opinion of WCNOC.
