    kb3122947

This is another new problem update released today. Many posts have appeared complaining that it fails to install. If you have this problem, this worked for me.

    Find "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download"
Find the folder which contains a.cab file with the kb code of this update.
Shift + right click on the cab file, and copy as path.

Open a command prompt as Administrator and enter:

    dism /online /add-package /packagepath:insertpathhere

Insert the path as per the following example

    dism /online /add-package /packagepath:"C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Downl oad\b0a5da1b24245bc4237166e09bae92da\windows10.0-kb3122947-x86.cab"

When it completes, close and check for further updates.

Wish I saw your post (didn't scroll down far enough). Found the same solution at M$ forum and posted my response at another thread here. What the heck is M$ thinking? A regular user would be clueless to do this. Crazy, crazy, crazy.
