    Question Blurry Windows

some of my windows are very blurry, this is annoying and driving me nuts. how do I find out what's causing it and how do I fix it? here's an example:

As you can see my device manager window has very blurry contents compared to other parts of my screen. a number of windows do this, but I remembered this one doing it consistently so it's easy to get a screenshot of.

Do you have the screen resolution set to the highest native capability of the monitor? Attempting to run a non-native resolution may cause that.

Yes, I'm running at my native resolution(1920x1080), I don't think most windows would be perfectly clear if this were the issue.

Can you try your monitor on another PC (at the same resolution)?
What monitor interface are you using - SVGA?
In any event try tightening the plugs at each end...

No, i don't have a acces to a spare monitor. I should have mentioned It's an Alienware m18x so being a laptop it doesn't have any chords running to the screen that could easily be simply tightened.
