    Imminent disk-drive failure message

I wish I had captured the exact message.

I rebooted my computer and Windows 10 reported imminent disk drive failure, did I want to save the instructions how to recover.

I tried to save to One Drive and Windows reported that this was the disk that was going to fail.

    Anybody else seen this?

Do you have OneDrive mapped as a drive in Windows?

Load PassMark DiskCheckup or Hard Disk Sentinel and it will tell you the state of your disk(s).

    cheers, Paul

Thanks, Paul. It's my SSD that is failing. Hope to keep it going until after Xmas rush.

You might consider doing frequent disk images to an external hard drive, and daily backups of your personal data, until the drive is replaced.
