    Question on Nov. 1511 update

NOTE: I'm in no rush to get it
My HP laptop upgraded to 10 Pro on 8/4/15 and all went well. In Nov. it seems that a lot of people got the 1511 update. I got all the updates except the 1511 and still haven't gotten it.
My question is, has anyone else not received the 1511 update yet, or is it just me? Just curious

Obviously, I wasn't around in 1511, you see I didn't hit the scene until about 1950, what was updated back then?

Well, at least it looks like I am not the only one that hasn't gotten the newer update, LOL.

I've heard some horror stories about it. Better have a back up image ready!

I'm a image man. Why have a drive setting in a drawer with a OS on it, when you can have a drive with several images and other data on it. I see no advantage of a clone over a image, unless your planning on replacing that drive right away. Those are my thoughts. I guess if money is no concern, clone all your OS's and put the drive in a drawer. Or you could put a whole bunch of images on a external drive for all your PC's and keep the images up to date.

Keep in mind that some people use the terms interchangeably...

    Here's an example...

Hi jwoods! OK! Not sure what you're saying?? There is a huge difference in my mind; even though they both get the job done. A cloned drive is a exact replica and can be installed instantly and your back up and running. A image has to restored to the working drive or a new drive. If your working drive bites the dust, then you have to install a new drive and restore the image to it. My choice is a image and that's what I was trying to say in my post.
Thanks for your reply! Will read the link!

    LOL...I know the difference.

However, to some, cloning and imaging mean the same thing, even though technically they have different uses.

I think we've all learned what your choice is...
