    fatal exception

I have been getting the "BLUE SCREEN" with the following message--
a fatal exception OD has occurred at 0028: c003633B in VXD IFSMGR (01)
any ideas what's up with that.

    Try this page <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.generation.net/~hleboeuf/ifsmgr.htm>ifsmgr errors</A> at generation.net.

    Thanks Leif!!
I checked out this page and I did not find anything there.
It applied to World Atlas, ME and the fatal exception OE I am receiving OD.
I will have to keep plugging away to figure it out.
    Any other ideas.
    Thanks--Stevo

    Re: fatal exception

Here's a good place to start unraveling the problem:

    <A target="_blank" HREF=http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q150314#1>http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...EN-US;Q150314#1</A>

Fatal Exception errors are usually the result of a bad device driver or a program that is poorly written.

    Re: fatal exception

I would like to thank you for your help!
I looked thought the links and they are somewhat helpful, and I think it was a glitch in Norton or AutoSave.
After rebooting restarting and just playing with the stuff it seems to be fine FOR NOW!
But a big THANKS for you generous help.
