Smile Using paragraph numbering in a table in Outlook changes the font to Times New Roman

I have created an Outlook 2010 template that contains a table. In this table I am using automatic paragraph numbering which is defined in Styles. The numbering is in Arial 10pt and uses Heading 1, Heading 2 etc.
When I apply a style in the table the number appears in Arial 10pt but the font immediately thereafter goes into Times New Roman 10pt.
Stationery in Outlook is all set to Arial 10pt.
Can anyone explain why this is happening?
    I am using Windows 7, 64-bit and Office 2010.

I have attached pictures so you can see the default font settings, as well as the formatting in the table.

Your help will be much appreciated. Thank you.
