    Teamviewer

    Saw another post regarding this program mentioning to not have it installed. Is this a security risk or was it just that an online virus scanner would flag it as undesirable or infected?

    I think that was a case of someone suspecting a hacker had remoted into his PC. TeamViewer is frequently offered/forced by unscrupulous 'MS repair operatives' over the 'phone as a way they can show you all the 'errors' on your PC so they can scam you for $$$.

    TeamViewer is a fine tool but unless you have it securely passworded, don't set it to start with Windows. Having it installed is fine, just check frequently for updates.
