    Question about PrintAllPDFs.ps1

Hi RG! I copied and pasted the code in search, but it doesn't work for me. Here's what i pasted in search. I really want to learn how to do this if you have time to teach me. I can be pretty thick headed at times.
Here's what I pasted in search.
$DriveToPDFs = Read-Host "Enter the Drive:\path to your PDF Files"

    Dir "$DriveToPDFs\*.pdf" | `
    Foreach-Object { Start-Process -FilePath $_.FullName –Verb Print -PassThru | `
    %{sleep 1;$_} | kill}

    Holdum,

You switched programs so I created a new thread for these questions.

You need to paste this code into the PowerShellISE. You will be able to run it from there. You should really do a little reading about using PowerShell, just google it.

Ok Thanks RG! I'm give it a try!
Windows PowerShell is a new Windows command-line shell designed especially for system administrators. Windows PowerShell includes an interactive prompt and a scripting environment that can be used independently or in combination.
I think maybe I'm way over my head RG. I haven't given up yet and I'm Googling!

Hi RG! I'm still reading about PowerShell. Don't know if this old man can handle this program. It seems to me PowerShell is command prompt on steroids. I understand command prompt and maybe that's as far as this old man needs to go. I thought just pasting your code in Powershell was all I needed to do, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks for all your time. Not sure Powershell is for me and may be more effort then I want to put forward.
Thank you Sir for your knowledge and patience!

    Holdem,

There was no need for the 3rd command. The first set the Execution Policy the second checked to see if it was set correctly.

The third one you entered (don't know where you got it) is not valid thus the error messages. It is NOT Needed.

    Holdem,

Yes, that is the command I said you did NOT need as it is invalid!

    Holdem,

Nothing is supposed to happen, you have setup to enable PS to run scripts on your local machine.

Now you need to load a .ps1 file and run it or enter commands in the command window to create a script.

    See Getting Started With PowerShell.

Hi RG You are very kind and very patient. I have no idea how to load a .ps1 file. I think it's time you give up on me.
This seems to be way over my head and though I love learning, this is starting to give me hives.
    Thank you Sir!
I have tried to read https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/.../hh857337.aspx at 77 ,the old brain will only hold so much before it turns off and refuses to except more until it rests awhile and then you have forgotten what you learned about it.
I appreciate you more then you'll ever know, but my old brain is not cooperating at this time.

Hi good friend! Thanks for your time and effort! I don't think Powershell is meant for this old man at this time.
    Thanks RG

Hi RG! When anyone stays with me and my thick head, it's hard to quit them. I have now gotten this far and once again I'm stuck. You can quit this an time my friend. I'm thinking the problem now is the Zip file. I'm attaching screen shots. Thank you my friend!
