Best way to access Google Calendar from PC?

I am trying to set up a calendar that can be accessed from my laptop and my Android phone. I've decided to use a Google Calendar, only because I haven't seen anything that convinced me to use something else. I have installed the appropriate app on my phone and that is working. What is the best way to access the calendar from my laptop?

    Thanks,
    Bill

Do you mean other than google.com/calendar in a web browser? If that's not to your liking, perhaps you can more specific as to what about it you don't like. (I can think of a few things, but those are more a matter of personal preference. Google.com/calendar is probably suitable for most people.)

You could use your existing mail/calendar app. Thunderbird has an add-on.

dg1261: I didn't know about the "/calendar" addition to the URL. That looks like a good way to go.

Paul: Yes, I knew about the Thunderbird addon but I don't keep Thunderbird open all the time and it is pretty slow to open so I was looking for a faster way to bring up the calendar. I also didn't realize that "calendar" as in the matrix of choices that Google.com opens with. I'm going to start out using that approach and see how I like it.

    Thanks to both of you.

I used to use T'bird but because of mail syncing issues across pc and mobile platforms I've now moved to Aquamail on pc. That is fast to load, can be set to be 'always on' and has Google Calendar integration, so you might like to take it for a test run.

Thanks for the suggestion, Spokes. I'll take a look at Aquamail.

Sorry Bill, my mistake. The correct name is Mailbird. This works very well with Aquamail, which is my mobile email app. Apologies once more.

I use TB on my PC and other methods on my other 3 devices. Never had an issue with syncing - I use IMAP.

    cheers, Paul
