    Need ntkern.vxd file.

    Can anyone tell me where I can get a copy of the ntkern.vxd file ?? Thanks

    The file should be on the Windows 95 CD-ROM. It will be compressed into a CAB file somewhere, probably with the name NTKERN.VX_.

    Thanks for the reply. I tried finding the file on the Windows 95 disk using Win 98's System File Checker and came up empty, but I used the whole extension .vxd and not the .vx_ that you suggested. I did find a copy on the Windows 98 disk though. Gonna try that tonight. Hope the version is the same or at least compatible. We'll see. <grin>

    The one from the 98 CD will almost certainly be newer. That doesn't mean that it won't work, but be wary after you install it <img src=/S/smile.gif border=0 alt=smile width=15 height=15>

    DLL's were supposed to be backwards compatible too....it's a nice thought at least.
