I have installed (not update) windows 10 in a Dell tablet. I need to act some policies restriction in the local GP. In User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> I have found the "store" folder. I have enabled the "turn off the store application" used gpupdate /force, and restarted the tablet. This setting doesn't want take place. The store working as normal. I couldn't find a solution.

Using PowerShell, have you tried removing the Windows Store:

    Code:
    Get-AppxPackage *windowsstore* | Remove-AppxPackage
Have a look at this article for more info.

Also, using something like TCPView or CurrentPorts to determine the remote address(es), you could block the Windows Store using the HOSTS file.

    Hope this helps...

Many thanks Rick for your reply...

I have removed in the past the store using the advice suggested in this article but it didn't work completely.
The students can get the application again simply finding in internet the app and once chosen the download the system retrieve the store that it seems for me not deleted completely but removed only the shortcut and connections.
I am going to work on your suggestion using the hosts file to block it.

At the moment I am using two accounts One Administrative and the other for all users.
The tablets are not in the domain and I am using win 10 PRO. When I did the upgrade from 8.1 to 10 the store restriction was working. Now Installing directly win 10 i found this issue.

If you can't disable the store why not uninstall it:
    Uninstall Store:
    Get-AppxPackage *windowsstore* | Remove-AppxPackage
    Use PowerShell as in:
    http://www.howtogeek.com/224798/how-...einstall-them/
    DRIVE IMAGING
Invest a little time and energy in a well thought out BACKUP regimen and you will have minimal down time, and headache.

Build your own system; get everything you want and nothing you don't.
    Latest Build:
    ASUS X99 Deluxe, Core i7-5960X, Corsair Hydro H100i, Plextor M6e 256GB M.2 SSD, Corsair DOMINATOR Platinum 32GB DDR4@2666, W8.1 64 bit,
EVGA GTX980, Seasonic PLATINUM-1000W PSU, MountainMods U2-UFO Case, and 7 other internal drives.
