Word 2010 Checks Words that are Mark Do Not Check Spelling...
I have a style which is set to "Do not check spelling and grammar" along with superscripts marked the same, but Word 2010 checks them incorrect anyway. It checks all none standard spellings as misspelled and also finds grammar errors in these sections. These worked fine until a later Windows 8.1 update and now in 10 it still checks words or characters, marked "Do not check..." wrong. I have checked and doubled check to make sure the Review|Language| check box for "Do not check spelling and grammar" is checked.
Many of these words are Old English spellings and I do not want to add them to my Dictionary so that it will catch these words if I inadvertently put them in the rest of the document. However, if do add them to spell check, the grammar checker will give not the Old English phrases, etc., a pass.
