Where are the Word 2010 templates in Windows 10?

I just installed Word 2010 in place of Word 2003 on a Windows 10 computer.

I run Word 2010 on a Windows 7 computer, and I'd like to transfer its Normal.dotm to the other machine.

It's not clear to me where I can put it, or if I can just copy it to that location and have it work.

    Who can help?

I have Office 2013/Word 15 on one of my Win10 computers and the location is at C:\Users\Berton\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Template s, probably would be the same for your version. I also have Office 2010 on my Win7 computer.

    Hi Lou,

How to Find the Normal Template.

Note that generally I find it better to store as many customizations as possible in other templates. Unformatted AutoCorrect, QAT modifications, and Ribbon modifications are in different files by default.

Moving (Copying/Sharing) Customizations in Microsoft Word.
