    Repeating Update

Every day since January 13th I get a notice that the "Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Update 4 Redistributable Package (KB3119142)" has been successfully installed. Any idea what is going on?

I not sure why its doing it - presumably a corrupt entry in the Registry. This fix worked for me - go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features. Find Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 in the list. Right click on it and choose "Change". A pop-up will appear. Click on "Repair".
