    CAC logon security

Is it at all possible for Access to utilize the CAC card reader to authenticate a user's logon credentials? If so can someone point me in the right direction to research this?

    Thank you
    Kevin

That probably requires the functionality built-in to the database client. What client are you using?

Basically the cursor has to be sitting in a text field that can accept the datastream from the card reader. You'd then then have to the format of the string to do anything with it.
