    record counter (2000)

I first want to thank everyone who has helped me the last few weeks , I will learn the ends and outs of Access yet. My new question, how do I get the record counter from displaying?

If you mean that you want to hide the arrows and Record x of y on a form, set the property Navigation Buttons of the form to No

That is exactly what I want to do but where do I go to turn it off. On the toolbar, or click within side the form?

In Design view, select the form, open the properties window, on the Format Tab, the 6th property is Navigation Buttons. Set this to No.
