Word 2010 -Macro for Letterhead first -then other pages in plain white.

    Hi,

I rarely have anything to do with VBA - been a very long time since I looked at it last --so hoping you can assist. I need to get a macro that prints the first page of a Word 2010 document to letter head paper (specific tray) and the rest of the document to plain white paper (another specific tray). I have seen that some people have written code that stipulates a tray ID - i.e. 261 or 257 and i dont know how you get this info - or if - indeed thats the best way. The default printer in question is a Kyocera Taskalfa 2551 ci KX.

As i am not very good at this and I would appreciate any help

    thanks

    Pabby,

Welcome to the Lounge as a new poster!

You may not need a macro. Have you tried the advanced settings on your printer. On my brother printer I have these options:

You might want to check your printer's settings for something similar.

Many Thanks for your welcome and your reply - having checked the page setup settings, there are indeed options as you have indicated. I was accessing the pc remotely so havent yet had a change to do a physical test. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
