    Warning: Unresponsive Script

My friend is not good with computers, and as usual, I've been asked to help. So here goes...
He is using Outlook for his email on Firefox (fully up-to-date) on Windows 7. When he starts Outlook, he soon gets the following message:

    Warning: Unresponsive Script
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now,
open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.
    Script:https://r1.res.office365.com/o...ipt....0.mouse.js:35
    | CONTINUE | DEBUG SCRIPT | STOP SCRIPT |

He has also received this for a different script:

    https://swx.cdn.skype.com/v/1.29.81./js/fullExperience.min.js:329

These pop-ups are annoying and also delay his ability to get to his email. I don't use Outlook and would appreciate any suggestions on fixing this problem.

    Thank you,
    Gary

    Did you mean "Outlook.com"?

Install NoScript on your friend's computer. Problem will be solved.

I did three things to address the same problem on my Windows 7 computer: I uninstalled Flash, I installed NoScript, and I installed AdBlock. Since that time, I can surf the web with no unresponsive scripts or other horrendous slowdowns.

I don't know if you need to do all of the things that I did; perhaps NoScript is all that is needed.

And by the way, make sure that your friend has some good anti-virus software installed, with regular updates.
