How to import Word outline to existing slides with image background?

    Folks,

How do I import an word outline into an existing. PPT presentation.

When I import it adds the slides at the end.

I have my slides set up. I simply want to import text into each slide.
Each slide has a image background on it.

I have looked all over, nothing coming up to show me how to do this?

Does anyone have any idea, am i missing a setting somewhere?

    Thanks

    Pb

    PB,

Is the image the same on all the slides? If so you can setup a Master Slide that contains the Image and then import the outline to get the desired result. If each slide has a unique image then the only way I know to do it is to import the outline then apply the images to the appropriate slide.

    Hi RG,

why oh why it always has to be one or the other

    I got 200+ slides - yikes - that's a job and a half.

I've seen macros where you can export from exel on to existing slide.but that's seems very complicated.

MS allow you to have a photoalbum one image per slide - but they conveniently decided to not allow text over the images.

    awww really

let me know if you hear of anything RG though the PPT grapevine

    cheers pb
