Sending Automatic Emails based on cell values

Hi I am basically trying to create a spreadsheet to store students grades. I have added some conditional formatting which highlights the cell red if a student gets below 50%. When this happens I would like the student's first name, second name and their percentage to be emailed to myself. I would really appreciate if anyone could help me with this.
I have added the spreadsheet to this question.
    Example spreadsheet.xlsm

    Mak,

If you search in the this forum you find several examples of doing this already posted. My question is since you're the one using the spreadsheet and it has conditional formatting to show this state why do you want to clutter up your email? If you're afraid you'll miss one you could easily setup a macro to capture the change event and throw up a popup message to alert you.

    Hi retired geek,
I want the emails to eventually be sent to the head of department at my organisation and they are only interested in the students who have failed. I hope this answers your question

How are you going to control if an email has already been sent?

I find the best way to prohibit resending email is to programmatically place a comment with the date and time in the cell when an email is sent. When the code runs, it checks to see if a comment is present. If it is, the email is inhibited. If not, the email is sent.
