    Outlook 2010 / Win10 / Long links Cut-Off

I am sure there is a post for this problem, but searching for it turned out to be a real time consuming task especially with over 12,000 posts to search through.

    I have a Windows 10 machine with Office 2010 and Outlook 2010.

I receive emails that look like they have multiple line links when I hover over them.

When I click on those links in most emails, it appears to use only the 1st line of the link based on where it takes me when IE11 opens.

I have also Googled every combination I can think of, but I still can't find a solution.

Anyone have any Ideas or can someone point to a post on this site that fixes this problem ??

    Thanks in advance.

Check if you have "line wrap" turned on. This will break long links across two or more lines.

This happens on emails I receive.

I tried the above fix, but it didn't make a difference.

Here's an example from a recent survey I received

When I hover over the button containing the link I see this:

    http://www.vipvoice.com/Toluna.MR.Tr...dYE4&mode=prod

However, when I click on it and it opens IE, this is what shows in the address bar and I usually get an error that reads "An error has occurred on the page."

    http://www.vipvoice.com/Toluna.MR.Tr....aspx?pgtid=20

I can copy and paste it, but I used to be to click on them with no problem.

Well this is really weird -- when I preview my post it replaces some of the link with 3 periods.

If you hover over the link you can see the difference in the lower left corner of the browser.

The line is being split at the ampersand character. Try making up a link and emailing it to yourself to see if it's still an issue.

    cheers, Paul
