    Ever heard of "QuuickusHop"?

I'm inspecting my 14-year-old grandson's laptop, and in Programs and Features I find a program named "QuuickusHop." That's exactly how it's spelled. I feel pretty confident that it's not something he wants or needs. The Publisher appears simply as "" (two double quotation marks; nothing else). Installed on 5/17/2015; Size and Version fields are both empty.

When I try to uninstall, I get this: "An error occurred while trying to uninstall QuuickusHop. It may have already been uninstalled. / Would you like to remove QuuickusHop from the Programs and Features list?"

FWIW: The computer was upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 a few months ago, well after the upgrade.

Has anyone here heard of this program? I Googled the name and got no results.

If you have a look at this Kaspersky forum post (which is in Russian but the quarantine results are in English) you'll see that Kaspersky quarantined a randomly-named DLL file in a C:\Program Files (x86)\quuickushop folder.

From this I think it's safe to say that QuuickusHop is definitely malware.

    Hope this helps...
