    Purge Problem with Outlook 2007

I used Outlook 2007 under Windos 7 for years without this purge issue. IfI purged an email, it would strike through and stay there until manual purging. I recently replaced by PC with Windows 64 Bit and reinstalled Outlook there. I use IMAP. Now when I delete an email, it gets the strikethrough and exactly 60 later is purged. If I delete a second email, the first one is immediately purged without the delay and that one gets purged after 60 seconds. I cannot find it and Auto Purge when changing folders in not set.
    Anybody have an ideas?

Is Outlook up-to-date with service packs and patches?

See if your configuration matches what is described in Purge IMAP items marked for deletion.

This is windows 10. I can't control the patches so I assume it has happened automatically. And yes, I have looked at that option and it is not checked. In any event, it happens in a folder as soon as I delete while I am watching. No folder change involved. It only happens in my Inbox. The other IMAP folders stay intact and crossed out waiting for manual deletion.

My email provider has tracked this down. I have Outlook installed as an email client on my Iphone. They have a server at AWS. It is the mobile Outlook client that is doing the autopurge on the account which then shows on my desktop. I have deleted the account as I do not like this behavior.
