    Event Event Viewer 0xc000007b Error

Does anyone have experience resolving 0xc000007b errors? If so, I could use some help. I have listed below what I've tried, so far, but have not had any success. I am running Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601). I am trying to run Event Viewer from Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools. It never starts, I just get this error:
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application.

    I have tried the following:
    1. Rebooted
    2. Run Event Viewer as Administrator
    3. Re-install .NET Framework 4.6.1
    4. Re-install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010
    5. Boot into Safe Mode and run the application. Still errors.

If it indicates some kind of pattern, I also get the same error with other Administrative Tools:

    System Configuration
    Local Security Policy
    Performance Monitor
    Print Management
    Services
    Task Scheduler
    Windows Firewall with Advanced Security

Any ideas on how to resolve this would be appreciated.

Never come across this before but someone has to produce this article - not sure if it will help though....

Are you able to perform a sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt ?

On reflection, this could be a mmc problem where the snap-ins aren't loading.

I'm not sure if the Windows Repair program from www.tweaking.com would be able to do anything for this as it may take a factory reset or reinstall to resolve.

Does reliability history give any details ?
