Upgrade to Win10 on 2009 MacBook Pro

Okay, here's yet another question about upgrading to Windows 10. I run Win7 on a Boot Camp partition on a mid-2009 MacBook Pro. Microsoft keeps insisting that yes, my machine qualifies for the upgrade, but Apple insists that it doesn't. Last night, I looked further into the matter and found that the only thing that won't work with Win 10 is BlueTooth. So says Microsoft, anyway. They say Apple has not modified their BlueTooth to work with Win 10 and has no plans to do so.

So ... were I to upgrade to Windows 10, I wouldn't be able to use my wireless (BlueTooth) Apple mouse with Windows; everything else would work fine. Is that about the long and short of it?

If you've run the GWX app and it does not show any other incompatibilities you should be OK. You'll have 30 days to roll back to Win7 if you need to.
