ColleagueImport.dll warning occurs when Outlook starts

I reloaded Windows 7 and reinstalled Office 2010: now every time I start Outlook 2010, I get the warning "Microsoft Office has identified a potential security concern" about ColleagueImport.dll. I have never seen this behavior before, but it appears that this add-in is part of SharePoint. If I click "Disable application add-in" repeatedly, Outlook will finally start.

I don't understand what's going on, but some items I found upon searching for this file name indicate that this is a virus: considering that I just reloaded everything, it shouldn't be. Can anyone help me understand and fix this problem?

    Thanks,

    Don Chambless

I don't use Office 2010 but it would appear that these two links confirm part of what you suspected.

I'd say that it is not likely to be a virus. (Have you used Malwarebytes to scan the file itself?)

Thanks for your response. Yes, I ran Malwarebytes along with Norton Security; neither detected anything suspicious.

Look at the bottom of the TechNet article to see how to turn off "Colleagues".
