    W10 error

    Just got the above error - I am running Win10. What does is mean?

    Regsvr32.exe refers to Microsoft Register Server which is part of the OS. Run a check for malware as this can spoof the file, particularly when not located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder, and then run System File Checker.

    When people report errors like that, I'll drag the mouse over them then right click on it and select Search with Bing/Google and I usually get a hit.

    Unfortunately as that is a pic, I can't do that for yours, but you should be able to.

    Had you opened a particular program prior to getting that message ?

    If not then perform a clean boot by disabling the programs under the Startup tab in msconfig and if you no longer get the message, then add one program back at a time until it reoccurs.

    If it isn't one of the items under the Startup tab, then follow the rest of this tutorial.
