    Try the following:
    Make a new, blank database.
Import all objects from you database into the new database.
    Try it out.
    Still the same problem?

    Re: Slow Form?

Here are a couple of additional suggestions.

First, try opening the table or query the form is based on and see if that opens slowly. If it does, then the form isn't the problem. One thing that can cause a slowdown, especially with a split front-end and back-end is subdatasheets, so turn off the subdatasheet property of your tables. There is code in on-line help to loop through the tables and do this, or you can do it manually if you don't have too many tables. You'll have to do this in the back end, but it can make a significant difference in speed.

Second, turn off Name Autocorrect, since it had been implicated in a variety of odd behavior in Access. From the Tools menu in the UI, select Options. In the General tab, uncheck all the boxes for Name Autocorrect. This will also help keep the database from bloating as badly.
