    Docx (Microsoft Word): Files can't be opened because of problems with contents

    Dear,

    I was searching the internet for solutions to open my corrupted docx. files.
    I received the following notice: Files can't be opened because of problems with contents when I try to open the two attached files.

    I found a topic/thread on this forum and I thought that maybe one of you could help me with opening the docx. files.
    I tried several options myself but it just won't work.

    I would be very gratefull if one of you could help me out!

    Hello!

    I'm afraid that your first document, at least, appears not to have any useful text in it. I've tried with Word 2010, Notepad++ and a Hex Display program, and no text shows.

    Same here, couldn't open in Word 2010.

    You can recover some content by using Word 2010 if you open Word and then go to File > Open and browse to the file; change the file type to Recover Text from Any File and click Open

    The file 82 has some potentially meaningful content along with a bunch of rubbish. The other one doesn't appear to contain anything useful.

    Even renaming them as .zip, in order to view the constituent parts, offers no solace. Though, the first part, artikel 82, does open in SoftMaker TextMaker and can be read for the most part. However, it seems to be a chain of programming code (garbled in parts) with no text that in any way relates to a report on a petition.

    I could open both files using Wordpad. The first file contains an amount of readable text, but doesn't seem to mean much. The second one is almost completely empty.
