    KB 2881030 for 32 bit

Hi,I do not dare to download anything any more from MS without consulting WForum!Today(June 8)I received an "important"update from MS,that stated it was for Office 2010.Tried to look up more info,no success.Since I have Office 2007(!)on my computer,I am even more suspicious and would like expert opinion from Forum if possible.Thank you so much. For now-no downloading this without info!

This page does say it's for Office 2010. Office 2010 is the first to be offered as either 32-bit or 64-bit, earlier versions were 32-bit only. And the update applies on Windows XP, 7, 8/8.1 and 10, not just for Windows 7 where you posted. I'd leave it alone unless you also have OneNote install, could be a later/updated version than Office 2007.

In the Prerequisites section, it say's that you must have Office 2010 Sp2 installed. It's possible that it would show up if you have an office compatibility pack installed. OR MS has screwed up again.

I have exactly the same update notice that came in on my Toshiba Satellite A505 running Win7 Home Premium 64bit. I have MS Office 2007 so naturally I was suspisious of this update. I have NO 'office compatibility pack' installed so I am betting MS has screwed up again.
Should I delete this update? How do I delete this update?
