Question Win 10 - How to render File Explorer display always in Detail mode?

Is there any way to setup File Explorer in Win 10 so that its default display always comes up in "Details"? I find the other "displays" very frustrating and useless for my purposes.

    Ron,

You will have to do the following procedure once for each TYPE of folder, e.g. Documents, Pictures, Video, Music, etc.

    1. Select a folder of the desired TYPE.
    2. Set the View to Details.
    3. On the View Ribbon Tab Click Options.
    4. Click Change folder and search options.
    5. Click the View Tab.
    6. Click the Apply to Folders button.
    7. Click Yes in the dialog below.

    8. Repeat for each TYPE of folder.
