    Macro Required to Extract Data

    Hi,

I am new to this forum but seen threads which have helped people a lot.

I am also in need to get help from this forum

    1. Every week I need to copy specified data (only for a week between two dates) from various userís in which users put their working hours in below given format.
No code has to be inserted here.

    2. Sheets placed on a shared location in server with every users employee code and name combination i.e. 17846_Rakesh Chand.xlsx. (PROTECTED BY PASSWORD SO THAT USER CANNOT AMEND OR CHANGE FORMULAS)
    i) Folder named by four different departments A, B (Two Sub Departments BA & BB), C, D having the sheets.
    3. We need to copy data from a certain date to a given date. i.e. 1/5/2016 to 6/5/2016 to a master workbook in specified department sheets.

    Requirement:
Need to create a macro which can copy the data between two dates by opening each employees sheet and put it in a master sheet (MACRO REQUIRED IN MASTER SHEET)

    Thanks in Advance.

You can start with the code in this thread and modify it to suit.

We are not a free coding shop, we expect you to do some of the work - and learn something in the process.
Do what you can and then ask when you are stuck.

    cheers, Paul
