    Back up the Start Menu

How can I back up the Start Menu layout and content so that if I need to restore it I do not have to restore all the ("old") data and program configs as well? Is/are there special folders that contain the necessary info that could be copied? Or, even better, a utility to back up (just) the start menu?

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

    Update:

It seems that the folder C:\Users\%User%\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer contains the layout info. Is there something else that is needed?

I can only offer what might be a small portion of the answer.
The Start Menu configuration is stored in database file...........

    C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\Data base

    That is all I know.

Yra David, I haven't found much else either. And it appears that it can be temperamental, so backing it up surely wold be nice!

    Thanks,
    Chuck
