    Update running but nothing?

Finally just threw in the towel and did a clean install.

Did the install and installed updates through SP1. Next I've issued the update command to continue the process but all it does is spin its wheels ("Checking for updates" is showing it is checking). Been on-going for hours --- nothing. Any suggestions as to what is going on had how to get off the pot?

    Thanks for any help!

This has been dealt with in this forum several times just recently. Personally I just use WSUS Offline Installer (which brings the device almost up-to-date, including the installation of SP1 and updates to Windows Update itself, making it easy to install the few remaining updates) whilst others have used the Convenience Rollup update (aka 'almost SP2').

    Hope this helps...
