    I realize they want to shake out all the bugs before release of the anniversary update but this is getting ridiculous.

    A bit ridiculous? At 3Gigs per upgrade, yes! I have been running "Insider" in a VM and have decided not to open the machine until after things slow down to a more reasonable pace. (I suppose that's not doing what users of Insider are expected to do, but ...)

    @JoeP517. Yes, that's what I suspected. I think I'll hold off a bit (all this downloading and updating and then checking/testing the new features etc is very interesting, but a bit too much of late!!)

    Big push to fix as many bugs as possible, get them tested internally, and then pushed to Insiders for more testing before the Anniversary release.
