    Windows will close ...

This is very unlikely to be a Windows problem, but Adobe doesn't even address it; there are maybe a dozen posts asking virtually the same question on their support site, and none of them are answered.

I'm running Windows 10 Home 64 bit, i7, 16 Gig RAM. The program worked OK for 3 or 4 months, then has quit with a message:

Photoshop Elements 13 Editor has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

I don't get any notification. Does anyone have a suggestion?

    Thanks, George

Have a look in Event Viewer as it stopping will have been recorded and it may give you a Faulting Module which caused it to close.

thanks, will see what that says; the only way to close it is via Task Manager. I won't be at that system for several days.
