Firefox 47 broke eBay's Paypal login?

I use eBay a lot. The last 3 times I tried to use Paypal there, the login window just blinks when I try to login. No error msg, I'm just not logged in. I can login to Paypal directly just fine, or copy the eBay page URL from Firefox and use Chrome to login to Paypal & pay. This happened about the time I updated to FF 47.0.1, so I'm guessing that's it. However, can't find anything on the 'net except old problems.

    Any ideas?

?There might be a clash with an extension or add-on or plug-in related to privacy?

Paul, I think the thread starter missed my point. I was hoping he would took a hard and long look at the plugins, addons, extension -- one or more may now be clashing with that FF version.

No, I didn't miss the point:

If it works in safe mode, I'll start removing extensions until I find the culprit.

    Thanks,
    Kerry

Ahhh Kerry! I was wrong about you missing the point! I was distracted by Fox News in the background. You are doing things aok! Please report back on your findings!

I disabled an addon called "Privacy Badger" & was able to use Paypal from eBay again. I might be able to tweak its settings and re-enable it.
