    Windows 10 password stopped working

My windows 10 password for the administrator stopped working, I am not using a Microsoft account and I did not make a password reset disc. Has any anyone encountered this problem and figured out how to reset the windows password? I have read a couple of ways to do this but I need to make a bootable system disc and can't figure out how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know anyone else with a Windows computer where they can use the Media Creation Tool to create the bootable ISO ?

A library or Internet café may be alternatives.

I haven't checked out any methods in how to reset the password, but if you have to boot up with the disk, then that could pose a problem in changing the boot order.

Could you explain how that will help?

Are you sure you are typing the correct password?

See the "Create a New User to Save Account Files" section on this page to reset your password.

I'm assuming the OP doesn't have another machine to create the bootable ISO on, although he is able to post.

To reset the password I'm also assuming he will have to boot up with the ISO but if he can't get past Log in - how is he going to change the boot order.

If I've got that wrong then I'm quite happy to be corrected.

How would you change the boot order after logging in?

I had assumed you had to do this from within Windows.

From reading https://www.winhelp.us/computer-boot-order.html I see that isn't the case, so I have corrected myself.

After a lot of reading I found that you have to create a Windows 10 Boot disc or USB which will allow you to get into the computer. I was not successful at doing that, but I ended buying a Rene.e Laboratory program called Renee PassNow for $39.99 that made a snap out of resetting my password. I would highly recommend that anybody using Windows 10 create the Password Reset Disc that Microsoft recommends a user makes.
I would like to thank all of you for your input. I'm sorry that I couldn't respond while you were making your suggestions but when I got locked out of my computer I also got locked out of my E-Mail account.
    Thanks to you all.
