    This build cleared up the desktop watermark and expiration date on my system.

    I just got it, took a bit over 4 hours, and found a new App? had been installed called Ad-Aware Web Companion. I haven't used anything Ad-Aware in several years, surprised to see it installed.

    Berton,

    WOW! 4 hours. I updated it this morning while watching the Wimbledon Men's Final and it only took 1.5 hours.

    On another note has anyone been able to get the Windows Defender Offline (Settings->Update & Security->Windows Defender->Scan Offline) to work? Every time I try it it reboots the screen and comes up with a BSOD & QR Code (which my phone won't scan) then reboots.

    May the Forces of good computing be with you!

    @RG,

    Have you checked the Feedback Hub for anything similar? You should upvote it if you find it or report it there if it does not exist.

    I'll try it later. Right now I'm on a Win10 notebook running the November update.

    The offline scan worked fine for me.

    Apparently this is new, found in start->windows accessories->quick assist

    This is just my speculation. I have no proof to substantiate.
    In my opinion, Microsoft is going to continue "rapid-firing" Insider Builds to us because August 2nd for Anniversary Edition is fast approaching.

    You know now that installing preview build is not sequential. So, if you don't have time or not willing to keep up, you can simply switch to Slow ring.
    Switch back to Fast ring when you are ready.
    I don't remember how long one has to wait after switching from Slow to Fast.
    I think it's 24 hours. But I could be wrong on that.

    Just a suggestion.

    @davidhk. Yes, I am considering that. (I have not flashed up Win 10 Insider on my VM for a few days whilst deciding whether or not to wait a while).

    @davidhk: Good grief! (I think I will delay flashing up a bit longer ...!)
