    After password reset, slow notifications

    After doing the password reset the other day I noticed that notifications to subscribed threads by email is anywhere from 6-8 hrs. behind. Is WS having problems? I always got the notifications in a timely manner before the reset.
    Just curious as to why the change.

    The email support infrastructure changed recently. I reported obvious delays in email delivery (noticeable, for me, in PM email notifications) to the Penton technical structure.

    I've also noticed it on another Penton site.

    @ruirib
    I actually got your response pretty quickly tonight but I also got yesterdays responses today when they should have been there yesterday, so I guess we'll see how it goes.
    Thanks for reporting it and letting me know that it isn't just me.
    @satrow,
    I haven't received your response yet.

    The change has occurred, I am told, in the last 80 hours or so, which means it is possible some tuning is still required. I will keep monitoring the situation and reporting it for improvements - as the goal of the change was improving email performance and avoid rate limits by big US email providers, I am hoping we'll end up with better performance, once everything is properly configured and tuned.

    Everything seems to be ok now so I'll close this thread. Thanks for the input.
