    Task Manager from command

    Hi everyone:

I'm looking for the command line to run task manager in W98 or WME. I am using remote access software on computers running these OSes, and I cannot send a CTRL+ALT+DELETE keystroke combo to the remote computer - it registers on my actual computer instead. (On W2K computers this is not a problem, as you can send the command by way of a menu feature built in to the remote access software.) I have searched MSKB to no avail. Thanks!

Can't be certain, but on my WinME system, there is a taskman.exe in the windows folder. Doesn't look standard, but it does seem to be a task manager of sorts.

Thanks Chris, I see what you mean when you say it doesn't look standard. I'll have to test it in a situation where I'm remotely accessing a W9x/ME PC with a non-responding program, but in any event it will certainly help. <img src=/S/bow.gif border=0 alt=bow width=15 height=15>
