    Early Anniversary?

    Hey Y'all,

I fired up my Win 10 Home Laptop to check on a registry entry and when I shut it down I got "Getting Windows Ready" message. After a brief pause it shut down. So I started it back up to see what happened and it's been working it's brains out ever since. CPU running between 50 & 99%, Memory at 50% All kinds of disk and Ethernet activity.

Windows Installer and Windows Update processes churning away. FWIW

Maybe it's GWX committing suicide. We can only hope!

I can't source it at the moment, but I've read that the most recent build(s) of the Insider Preview are the Anniversary Update...

It's just lacking the fanfare you'll see on Aug 2nd.

No more features will be added. Version 1607 build 14393 is the Anniversary update. Any of the "." (point) releases after that are last minute fixes which everyone will get either during the upgrade process or shortly thereafter.
